Since 1981, the Raga has served its patrons with Classic East Indian cuisine. The menu, of more than 100 items, features northern Indian cooking but also includes some Kashmiri and south Indian dishes. The Raga's recipes were designed by Chef Kapotra, who cooked for the Nehru-Gandhi family, and are adhered to by our current chefs.
An authentic Tandoor (clay oven) heated by charcoal produces succulent Kebabs and wonderful breads.
Over the years, the Raga has played host to many celebrities such as Mel Gibson, Ravi Shankar, Kurt Russell, Bryan Adams, Goldie Hawn, Tina Turner and Mickey Rooney, to name just a few.
The Raga has soft pastel dcor, soft lighting and is roomy, but intimate. In the summer, outdoor seating is available on our patio.
